Report from the isb openInnovation 2023
"New Leadership - what makes the difference that makes the difference?"
...was the theme of the 24-hour sprint isb #openInnovation, which I took part in last week together with Heike Schachtsiek and 70 other creative minds in Augsburg.
❓ How will leadership change in order to deal with the dilemmas and challenges of our time?
The isb New Leadership Manifesto, which was presented in Augsburg, does not aim to provide definitive answers to this question, but rather a positive framework for orientation. Its essence contains five different perspectives on leadership (Holistic, Entrepreneurial, Ambidextral, Sustainable and Spiritual Leadership), which offer plenty of potential for reflection and discourse.
What is the attitude behind spiritual leadership - and how do we create space for it in a business context? How do we create more fun and ease in the leadership role? Creativity in leadership - how does that work and what would it be good for?
In addition to many new questions, I will take away many relevant thoughts from these Bar Camp sessions - to name just a few:
☑️ New leadership requires courageous leadership and humility.
☑️ New leadership creates connectedness both internally and externally.
☑️ New Leadership creates spaces in which a shared spirit and a gleam in the eye emerge.
☑️ New Leadership allows for intuition and vulnerability.
